The Garland Science Learning System is designed to evaluate and improve student performance. It allows instructors to select homework assignments on specific topics and review the performance of the entire class, as well as individual students, via the instructor dashboard. Students receive immediate feedback on their mastery of the topics, and will be better prepared for lectures and classroom discussions. The user-friendly system provides a convenient way to engage students while assessing progress. Performance data can be used to tailor classroom discussion, activities, and lectures to address students’ needs precisely and efficiently.

HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1. INSTRUCTOR CREATES COURSE
After obtaining access to the system, the instructor selects modules for the course, assigns dates for each assignment, and then launches the system. Upon launch, instructors receive a custom link to allow student to access to the selected course materials.
STEP 2. STUDENTS COMPLETE ASSIGMENTS
Upon enrolling in the course through the custom link, each student will see a list of assigned modules including the required completion dates.
STEP 3. INSTRUCTOR ANALYZES PERFORMANCE DATA
Instructors can evaluate student progress in real time. Data is provided for the class as a whole, for individual students, and for performance on specific questions.
